Realised I had a puncture just outside the bike shop on Leith Walk. Had expected it soon, as the tyre is old and there was a broken spike too.

So left the bike in, jumped on a hire bike and was only 10 minutes behind schedule. Feeling pleased with myself, because then my meeting in town finished in time to get the bike and come home for sausages before Gaelic.
