Battered by wind and rain

There is a huge and ancient magnolia (160 years old) at Heligan and today I went to see how it had survived the wind and hail and rain we've been having recently.  It was a bit battered.  The sky was a lovely blue for part of the day and there  was quite a bit of sun!
