Apparently 15 hours of  sleep per day is essential for cats and here Peggy Sue is demonstrating the art of sleeping deeply.
In extras:  Violet was with us today as she has a nasty cough and has had a temperature.  It was debatable as to whether she could have managed school or not, but had she gone, it seems quite likely that in the current climate, we would have had a phone call to come and collect her part way through the day.
