The catkins on my Corkscrew Willow were looking good in the sunshine this afternoon.
It was a busy time at work as it was wages day today and calculating for 80 hourly paid staff members is rather stressful. When I got home I cut some of the grass but it was terribly wet and soon clogged up the mower, the rest will keep for another day. I then reset a couple of panes of glass in the greenhouse and potted some cuttings I'd taken from some carnations I had bought recently. A productive afternoon and I feel pleased that I've eventually made a start in the garden.
