Monday morning .....

.... a walk through the Black Spout Woods which is always a good way to start the week. 

The recent winds have removed most remaining leaves opening up the woods and revealling connections between different parts.  I also come across a few trees which had fallen over. However I was most struck by how green the moss was - very vibrant against the rust backdrop.

I came back through the grounds of the Atholl Palace hotel and was rewarded by a glimpse of a red squirrel.
