TOWER OF POWER

A stop on a very muddy walk this morning.

In M&S on the way home I was taken aback to see that two-thirds of the freezer units were completely empty and thought they might have been stripped by panic buyers, but no, they'd had a breakdown over the weekend, so the population of Hartlepool will not be self-isolating with a stash of exotic M&S puds and ice creams. And nobody had panic-bought all the Wensleydale cheese and carrot chutney sandwiches... phew! My lunch was safe.
