Sad news

Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Kara today. We spent a lot of time at the Vet School in Glasgow, which is where this picture was taken as we awaited the news of her tests.

She shared the last two years of her life with us, and gave us a great deal of joy. We gave her our love and a good home.

I'm so full of gratitude and praise for all the vets who cared for Kara, both at home and in Glasgow. They were quick to respond, kind to her (and us!) and did the very best they could, and in the end when it was Kara's time to go they let us spend some time with her to say our goodbyes.

Thank you to all my blip friends who've followed Kara's occasional appearances in my portfolio and shared kind words. It means so much.
