The Battle of Broxton Bridge...
...as fought by the reenacters today, complete with charging horses, Union & Confederate soldiers, bugle blowing, and canon fire that made the ground shake! I loved it! As we started walking around the camps before the actual battle I heard them call muster for the Wisconsin 32nd regiment.....what’s the chance I’d be there at just that moment. Mary & I each shot 200+ pictures, & it was too hard to choose just one, so I’ve put 4 of my favorite “people” shots into the extras, as I think Mary posted an action collage. Outside of it’s being really dusty the day was fantastic at 61 degrees & sunny. :))
