The Lost Dogs

Neil was on the 6 am flight this morning.
I did not hear him leaving!
I got up when I woke up and had a relaxed start in the day.
Got a text from Aiysha, a girl from Edinburgh who I met at one of the networking lunches, that she was in Bearsden today and that we could meet after 3 pm if I had time.
I texted back that we could indeed meet in QMD anytime after 3 pm.
I had not heard back from her until short after 3 pm, when I just had warmed up some food as I was starving .... she was on the way ETA in 10 minutes.
I rushed to get ready and out to William Cafe where Aiysha had claimed a table already.
Time flew by! We had a great time and found quite a few people we knew in common.
She is a very interesting lady!
When I said I only knew 2 people in Bearsden - Peter Halley and Caroline - that was exactly where she had been!! Funny - isn't it?
We stretched over the opening hours of the Café as we still had so much to talk!
She invited me to a Spa Day in Edinburgh at the Sheraton, where she can tale a guest for 25 GBP only.
So we will do that soon.
I was back home after 6 pm and had to prepare for my meeting with Colin, the singer of the band The Lost Dogs.
They want some Band shots and I wanted to do some research with reference pictures of the main bands they were covering. 90ies Seattle Grunge.
I managed to do that and copied the images on my I-Pad before I left - by car! The weather was so dreadful, I did not want to walke.
In the end I still had to walk through the rain, but not that far!
Colin and I met at 8 pm at the BOX, a music venue, where they would be playing later.
We had a good chat and more an more of the band members arrived.
They are now wanting 2 shoots - one studio and one location.
Well - I hope they will not be put off by the cost .....

They started playing at 11 pm and I took a few pictures - always happy to practise some gig photography.

I walked back through the  rain and storm to the car after midnight and was unlucky with parking at home, so I had more to walk in the horrible weather.

Sat up too long - looking through the photos and trying to figure out photomechanic ....

Blipping a gig shot ....
