Tucked this well in whilst getting seed potatoes from Beetham after our local nursery has closed. Sadly, it’s not the most inspiring well and there’s no sign of water any more but it clearly has some good holy connections.
Afterwards a jaunt up Arnside Knott (extra). I wondered if I’d be saved by the caped crusader but there was sadly no sign of him. Bizarrely though, the first person I bumped into was one of my managers from when I was based in Kendal who was out with his daughters. We lamented the tectonic changes and how quickly the teams have become cut off from one another.
