Cake

Daan baked a cake today.
I tasted great and was a highlight of the day.

It’s March now, that means my busiest month of the year has started. The main theme for the upcoming weeks wil be taxes, taxes and taxes.
I’ve already completed a few forms today.

But I've decided not to let it get to me as much as in previous years.
For instance, I will refuse to work late in the evening and/or the whole weekends.

I've already had a mail of a (I thought former) client, telling me (not asking! that's the spirit!) to help him with his taxes of the year 2018.
He didn't need my help and knowlegde back then, I was too expensive in his opinion and he could do it all by himself.
But recently he received a tax assessment that turned out to be a bit different than what he expected. He has to pay back a substantial amount now. Oops!
Typical! Well, this one will be at the bottom of my to-do list. I guess I'll make him an offer first. Let's see who is expensive now.
