Farewell....

To our dear friends Merrilee and Steve. Their farewell was held at the church office after the live stream. We went down to be part of it all and of course attend the farewell.

It was just fantastic to see some our church family again after 4 weeks , and glad that many came out to wish them well and pray with them.

We then made it down to the beach, after 4 whole months!!!! First time this year and Steve and Merrilee joined us too! First time for them with us .. and the last too :(. Unless they join us again on one of their visits back to HK.

We had a lovely special time with them alone, and it hit me at the beach that they’re actually leaving and that I am going to miss them so much. Merrilee has been a very dear friend and mentor and Steve too for Martin. To our whole family actually! We shall miss them dearly.

Needless to say I was a bit teary on the beach and at home later too. Sad days.
