Canary Wharf

Down to London for a few days - trains back to normal after weekend disruption, but some delays as a result of signalling problems. My son and I were off to Canary Wharf and Canada Water to take photographs for his art and photography 'A' levels. Lovely crisp day. Into financial district and then down along the Southbank to Tate Modern. Checked into our hotel in Covent Garden, and had food in riverside pub, then back to the Tate for an evening talk by Sir Steve McQueen, film director, whose exhibition we had seen earlier. Wife and daughter went to see the Tina Turner musical. Son and I headed back to the hotel and watched a movie. Hub at Covent Garden a good central location.
