On a Mission
A real day of two halves. In the morning we were joined by very good friend Heidi. We were in Aylesbury playing a game by "Clued Upp" which was a combination of a murder mystery and Pokémon Go! You had to walk around the town exploring and answering riddles, gathering clues to the murder mystery. The evidence was virtually scattered around the town so as you walked with your phone's GPS, you met and got evidence from witnesses in the app. As we walked around we had Heidi's other half Garry piecing together the evidence. We managed to solve the mystery although we weren't the fastest team.
In the evening we headed to Birmingham to see the band The Mission. They were one of Annie's favourite bands when she was in her late teens although somehow she never got to see them live at the time. It was a great show in a completely packed venue (the O2 Institute). The show was a final warm-up for their upcoming European tour. The last song, "Tower of Strength" took Annie right back to being 17.
