A drive

We decided that it was time to take the car for a run up the mountain.  Our new car handled the climbs and winding roads very well.  Hubby was very pleased.  We stopped at a lookout point.   The view was still lovely but restricted due to the pollution.  On the way back down we passed a firetruck,  the fireman was desperately try to extinguish a road side fire.   More fires were burning further in the jungle.  Everywhere is so dry so this is a worrying sight.

Tonight we are going to an Italian restaurant for my birthday dinner. I will try and swim a few extra lengths to compensate  :)))
