Back off!

One of my goals when I photograph creatures is to have their eye/s in focus and to be as close up as possible. This bumble bee obviously felt that I was TOO close, as you can see by the way he's fending me off with his leg.

At least his eye is clear.

I went out looking for birds and bees today and came home with bumblebees instead. I had a good look around for bees but only spotted one amongst the dozens of bumble bees. I don't know where the bees are hiding but it wasn't in any of the places I was looking.
