Hello

Had a trip to Harlow Carr with our visitors today, this little robin hopped into the alpine house and spent quite some time posing for us.
We had a walk around in the sunshine!  It was very cold and we were glad to get into Bettys for coffee and cake and to get warm.  Called in the supermarket for some easy meals and spent a very sociable evening.  Just as we were heading to bed we had a phone call from our daughter - they had just arrived home from visiting the other grandparents and great grandad in Doncaster, to find that there was a continuing power cut and could they come to our house overnight - with a quick bit of rearranging they are now settled downstairs on the sofas (they decided they would be less disruptive with the baby down there).  All seems quiet now so I hope they get a good sleep.
