Alisa and Benny

Alisa Clancy is an announcer on KCSM radio, a really great station playing jazz 24 hours a day. (www.kcsm.org to listen on-line) She also teaches a jazz class I go to on Tuesday afternoons. The class is hard to describe, sort of a large seminar with comedians talking about music, the comedians being Alisa and my fellow students. Today we celebrated the 75th anniversary of Benny Goodman's Carnegie Hall concert.
