Seconds out - Round X.

NO! Not round ten, just "X"; on account of I've lost count. 
I usually like to use from one end while the other end grows/keeps fresh.
BUT
It's kinda thwarted me by growing new growth at both ends. Very inconsiderate of it?
I had a root in the greenhouse one year, but at ground level and the frost got it, despite the bench being warmer; hence the move indoors. 
The greenhouse attempt grew a piece the size of a golf-ball. NOT a good idea if you want to grow to use.

For my record, the Schlumbergera pieces are broken ones lifted, with permission, from a colour I don't have.
