A day in Zutphen
We met again at the Zutphen station yesterday. Bert's train arrived a little earlier than mine. It is because the journey from north to south is so long that we have decided to make it a weekend in a city unknown to us.
Today we went to explore the city. We made a tour de pied past five geocaches and returned to the hotel. This Hanseatic city is very small. A trip within the IJssel river and the city canal is approximately 3 kilometers. The city centre.
Next to the hotel is the city museum and opposite of it the large Saint Walpurga church we wanted to visit.
We also went to an old Dutch sweet shop, a small sweet museum with a special interior. In the hall In the hallway stood a display cabinet filled with models of fire engines. Volunteer firefighter, my cousin M. wouldn't get tired of looking at it. The most beautiful one was at the top.
We went to Vaticano Italian Restaurant.
It was a wonderfully relaxing day today, it felt like a holiday.
