Mud

Himself was up early to get to a 10k in East London so I bit bullet and went off to one of my two local Parkruns. I picked the really hilly, really muddy one on the theory that if I was going to get wet and muddy I might as well do it properly.

I did. It was ankle deep in places, running water in others. One guy even finished in his socks as his shoes kept getting sucked off his feet.

Himself then spent the afternoon trying renew his travel insurance... it's gone up massively since the coronavirus outbreak, he's had to pay twice what I did in January.

We're off to friend's 50th birthday party later, tomorrow morning might be a bit slow.
