Unsafe to use

Our wood burner is unsafe to use. So fairy lights it is then!

The cost to repair is eye watering, it’s not the stove as such, it’s something behind it, underneath it and is badly damaged. If used, it will put toxic fumes into the house. The guy who came to give it its service is also a fire fighter, he was straight to the about not using it! To be fair in 3 years we hardly used it as it smoked like crazy so we thought we would get it looked at. It would appear previous owner and owner prior to them didn’t look after it.
