The unvarnished truth

And the varnished lie!

A morning of painting. I usually use paint pads but couldn’t get one. So used a roller like everyone else. And, if you have serial-killered the room and don’t care about spatter, it’s pretty good!

Then, in the afternoon, started the fun bit!

Got two coats down on half the room - cant really put the sofas anywhere else so it’s a room of two halves.

Had a game of football in between coats!

Did i tell you about the goal I scored? My run coincided with a sweetly-timed cross which was perfect apart from arriving on my left foot but, hey, smashed it in!

A rarity!

Finished varnishing in time for a pizza and bed...
