Ella’s birthday present

Looking back on my journal today (I was trying to remember what I did in my birthday last year) I found a gap! I don’t have gaps and couldn’t work out why there was one. This was the only photo I took that day and it all became clear - I couldn’t blip it at the time because Ella would see her birthday present.

And I even remember what we did. I unwrapped this beautiful parcel. Then Jay, Will and I went to stay at my mums to leave the birthday party girl with an empty house to entertain the youth of Worthing.
