A day of learning about therapeutically working with domestic abuse. Which was predictably sad in places. I found it hard to hold on to hope when discussing how and why perpetrator programmes often fail. Talking to counsellors who work in prison sex offender wings was particularly enlightening.

I find that this, along with lots of issues, results in me having to hold on to the improvements that are being made and just hope it keeps going in the same direction. Hard to see how some things will as funding is such an issue.
