Ring Necked Parakeet

Here a couple of Ring Necked Parakeets. These birds are native from Africa and Asia, but are quit common in my neighborhood.
It all started out many years ago with 2 lonely Ring Necked Parakeets in the Vondelpark in Amsterdam. An old lady took pity of them and started to feed them. They thrived really well and the population became to big for the park. So they spread out to other places and parks like the Oosterpark and Flevopark.
