I Love This Tree

There are so many lichens and mosses all growing over each other and so many subtle colours and different shapes.
I really should take a wider shot of the whole tree.

This afternoon SWMBO joined me for some fresh air (and it certainly was fresh out there) when I went to Straiton to collect the reprint of the picture and get some spare frames to replace the ones that will sell with the prints (hopeful).
It took an hour and three quarters to get from  home to Straiton and then to Boxburn. The traffic was horrendous.
It took no time to mount the picture, slip it in the frame, attach the wires and hang it. Then it was along the road to get our last free coffee before the end of the month.
