Flowers in the Rain

It rained today. It rained all day.  We managed to get out this morning for a coffee/mint tea at the Everyman Cinema bar.  On leaving we decided to hibernate at home in front of the tennis for the rest of the afternoon.

I took a couple of flower pics for today's Flower Friday hosted by BikerBear.  I took them through the kitchen window to get the rain effect, and also not wanting to get wet again!

This is a small patch of tulips and daffs we have.

In Other News: A new restaurant has opened in Bell Court, to join the many others. It is a Chinese/Japanese fixed price buffet serving lunch and dinner.  The place is very large occupying the space underneath the Everyman Cinema. I think it may be somewhere I'd like to try, ever since Jimmy Spices in Windsor Street closed there's been a gap in the market.
