Virtue

This fabulous, if a trifle macabre, pop up representation of the human body is the frontispiece of the first of a two volume set of Virtue's Household Physician that I acquired somewhere in my travels. There isn't a date, but it was printed in Edinburgh sometime in the twenties I would guess from the fashions, for the American market. You can probably tell I was kind of stuck for a blip.

Feeling better, but every now and again I fall asleep, and there's another hour gone.
