Long day

Nice walk before breakfast and then went for a longer walk up the hill above the village. Still a dusting of snow on some of the hills but sun shining again.
Left around three to drive to my brothers as it is his birthday today and we were having a family get together. There was a lot more snow on the hills and at one point on the road, and then it was gone. It was lovely having my three siblings and there partners and my brothers family together to celebrate his 60th. M1 came to a standstill about 20 miles before our turnoff. Home for 10:30.
