Snowy corner

There was more snow overnight and it was even white at low levels but only the tops stayed snow covered by the afternoon.

Mark the day:   My car wouldn't start,  battery low after no use this week and very little use for months.  We reckon its the first time I have had to call for roadside assistance (AA via Ford Assist) since 1978 - Also a flat battery in UMIST car park -it was in an old Austin 1300 GT.  My modern Ford Fiesta doesn't seem to take well to light use - I read that other people have returned from 2 weeks holiday to flat batteries in very new cars.

Note to self - I must get out more ( a little more as there is still the planet to save).  Next car must be all electric -  I bet they soon get flat batteries.
