no rush
This arrowly edged out that one on the basis of greeniness. Tuesday and Wednesday were both partially-hidden so today and tomorrow ought to be less so for the sake of balance.
I was trying to think of things to do today to take advantage of not being at work. Simply walking around lots would have worked, as would catching up on a driveful of downloaded telly. Settled for a compromise between those two and clambering around trees and walls interspersed with the odd bit of normal photography not involving putting myself in frame. You have to poke around a bit up here to find trees as good as those back home but they're there somewhere. Unfortunately there aren't that many around which combine nice climbiness with good vantage points for self-portraiting alongside the Innocent Railway. Next time I'll head down to the Braid Burn.
Think I'll be glad to get back to normal pictures. Think I'll go back to doing night-time pictures whenever I like though. After all, the earth's tilt and orbital position will see to it that night-time shots will get progressively more difficult to come by for the next couple of months.
