Super skies
This afternoon we said our fond farewells to Family B after a lovely week with them. Particularly hard to tear ourselves away from our darling granddaughter. But some compensation to be found on arrival at our son's house. There we had a warm welcome from Master Bug Pugglesworth. We're doggie-sitting this evening as Bug's momma and poppa will be out till about midnight, going to a gig straight from work. Bug had been delivered home by his daycare team just before our arrival and was ready for his dinner, a visit to the garden, and some playtime. He's as adorable as ever. Doubtless he will feature in at least one blip over the next two or three days!
Lovely skies and sunset as we headed south, and then a sliver of moon appeared (narrower than it looks in my pic) SW of Venus (rounder than in my pic). Photo would have been better if I'd used a tripod, but still ...! Great to have enjoyed a dry day, apart from gentle sleet for a short time around 8.00am. Blue skies followed, as you see.
