-1 first thing, but sunny!
Went to Kirby Lonsdale to meet up with friend John . First stop at the Abbey House to walk Fletch. Lots of work going on in the grounds.. the first bit of our walk was very muddy. They've been clearing away all the brambles and small shrubs. ( see extra)
There were some men who were smoothing out the churned up path so it may be better next time we walk there but it looks so open. The big patch of brambles where I took photos of butterflies last summer has gone. It looks like the plan to extend the car park is going to happen
This is the second walk where trees and shrubs have been removed.
We then drove on to Kirby Lonsdale.. The sun was shining and it looked lovely. There was still some snow in the distant hills.
Lunch at Avanti was as pleasant as always but I've never seen the place so empty. Although it was market day there were only 2 stalls. Talk covered the Corona virus.. is this already keeping away tourists?
Back home and I've been looking at my attempts at abstract photography, trying to link them in 3s for a triptych
