Alder catkins and allergies

Sun, wind and black clouds today.  Great weather for landscapes, but I was tired after yesterday so - because of the scrummy colours - I took this shot on the Green, that being as far as I travelled.  And I have to say, forget tree pollen, it's London that really sets off allergies.  Even walking down the South Bank, with the river acting as a great big lung, the air quality is dreadful.  So glad to be back to normal today.

Not much else to report.  Caught up on emails, did some thinking and reading and had a text from Kirt to say he'd come tonight and quote for what needs doing to the garden fence.  So a step forward there.
