Making progress

Taking advantage of the fine weather ahead of the next impending storm we headed to the allotment this morning.
Progress made with temporary repairs to a couple of the raised beds which we cleared of weeds and then mulched with a mixture of leaf mould and silt that had washed onto one of the main paths. I weeded most of another bed which will need significant repair before it’s ready to plant.
Packed up before we were completely exhausted, pleased with the results of our efforts. Maybe a third of the way through the clear up and after that we will need to complete the repairs. Fingers crossed the next storm doesn’t undo any of our efforts.
After lunch I finally got myself to the hairdresser. A very productive day.
