The best day

The world was white. The snow that continued to fall, made the skiing wonderful. The powder was light and fun and it was our best day on the slopes. Big smiles all round.

Yes, the queues for ski lifts were longer because more snow brought more skiers, and yes, the coach couldn’t get up the hill to our ski hut so we had to wander down and up it, and yes, it was brutally cold at some points, but it was a great day.
