cattails in the snow

Today was a snowy damp day. We had been given a forecast of up to 25 cm of snow but it seems that not near that much has fallen yet. Maybe by morning there will be lots on the ground but somehow I am doubting it. After work I took a short walk to the lake to grab a few shots before heading off to the hosptial. The cattails looked nice covered in freshly fallen snow.
