Helicopters going round, and round, and round ...

and round.

The RAF and the police are taking part in a training exercise in South Wales this week.

According to the RAF Benson Facebook page:

"If you’re in South Wales this week, particularly the Cardiff area, look out for Puma helicopters.
33 Squadron are taking part in Exercise DRAGON HART where they are conducting essential training in the Cardiff, Newport and Swansea areas ahead of their deployment to Afghanistan later in the year.
As well as training alongside South Wales Police: Heddlu De Cymru using numerous authorised landing sites in the Cardiff area, they’ll be flying by day and by night to hone their skills in a safe environment."

Thankfully they weren't as low today as they were yesterday (the whole building shook), instead we had a pair of Pumas doing circuits from the bay up to city centre. About an hour ago they were doing more circuits, and I can still hear a distant rumble - I think they're more towards the Roath.
