Siren

Back on this Blip I mentitoned getting access to the site.  Today the nicve people at Scottish Water came along to let mt in so that I could photograph the Andy Scott (the Kelpies)  sculptures that make up the Neptune Project.  There is Poseidon, a Mermaid, and 3 Sirens of which this is one.  According to Greek Mythology a Siren is a beautiful woman whose singing lures sailors who wreck their ships on the rocks.   I'm sure I've met one|!

This site is now derelict and no one gets to see these fine sculptures which is a real shame. They really should be moved somewhere that people can see them.
