Two Hundred and Fifty Years!

Our wondeful department store here in Holt is celebrating it's 250th Anniversary this year and has a number of commemorative items for sale, including a teddy bear, a mug and this tea towel.  The other thing that makes the tea towel special is that the picture of the store front is by Kieron Williamson, who is our famous local artist.  Keiron was known as the 'Mini Monet' as he started painting when he was only 5 years old, he painted this picture when he was 6!  He has kindly donated it to Bakers & Larners for their special anniversary.  Keiron is hugely talented (his work has been likened to Pablo Picasso by many art experts) and his work is very sought after.  It was a great privilege to be able to see his work exhibited in Holt last year and to have met him.  He's now 17 years old.
