Hello

It's our last full day of house sitting today, our lovely hosts arrive  back from Madeira early evening.  After an early rise (by me!) we've got all the jobs done, even the vacuuming and all cats, kittens and ducks are accounted for (we're going to miss them).  Off to cook dinner now for the weary travelers and hear all about their sunny holiday, hopefully?

Luckily for them it's been an unusually  bright day here, still cold though with a smattering of snow on the hills*
