a thing of beauty
this my brand spanking new, genuine fender stratocaster.
in my teens i wanted one of these so badly, i would have cut off my left..... arm for one (but then i wouldnt be able to play it)
back then i plaayed allot, like every waking hour, then when i got old enough to drive, i never thought about it again. i didnt play for over ten years and got back into it again, did a few little gigs, and then i met the missis! so i stopped again for the last 4 years. so here i am again, 3rd time around!
as with most things in life im learning new stuff all the time. i think i probably thought i knew everything there was to know about the blues, but this time round i have picked up a few things i didnt realise were possible. this time around im hoping to be the best i have ever been. at least now i have this, i have the best insentive to really get stuck in.
back to the instrument itself, its a brand new, this years model, lake placid blue strat. i have always liked this colour on a strat, and it plays just beautifully. it has a lovely slim neck, which makes it it effortless to play for long periods. infact im off to my spare room now to annoy the neighbours!
