Love rival

Posting this on a cold wet/snowy night (depending on when you look out of the window). Definitely a night to bring out our new pet. He's a cuddle schnauzer, or as we've named him, Schnuggle.

He was a Christmas present. The idea is that you pop him in the microwave to make him nice and warm. I haven't tried that yet.

We thought that having a love rival might make Rufus buck up his ideas - improve his personal hygiene and become more obedient for example.

No chance. So far he's shown no interest in Schnuggle. However, if he gets too cosy with us I think Rufus might be tempted to put him in the microwave and turn it on full power for an hour...
