Brave Ewan

An eventful day started with a 999 call and a trip in an ambulance for Ewan.

He woke up just before midnight with breathing difficulties so without hesitation and taking no chances we called 999.

A trip in an ambulance and a visit to the hospital followed so he could be checked over but thankfully he settled down and all was ok.

It turned out he was suffering from a condition called Croup which is very common in young children.

We had never heard of this ailment but when your child appears to be chocking and gasping for breath its best to take no chances and call for help.

A little bit tired today but apart from that he is his usual boisterous self and mummy and daddy have read up on the relatively easy solutions that can be done at home to ease this condition should it reoccur.
