A Pelican Close-up

"DON'T SAY YOU PELI-CAN'T! SAY YOU PELI-CAN!"

I was six feet away from this pretty pelican princess, and she didn't break her pose. I guess she was tired and didn't want to end her rest period.

I usually like to get most of the beak in my shot, but if she's going to give me the eye...I'm going to take it.
