Deflated

I heard today that none of the 4 applicants (me being one) were called for interview. Despite my application being the strongest the field wasn't strong enough for interview. So the post will be readvertised with a start date in September. This will encourage more teachers to apply probably putting me at a disadvantage. Of course that leaves a vacancy which I have been asked to fill! To say o feel a little bit let down is an understatement. I haven't given an answer yet to whether or not I will continue to do the job.
