Refuge corner (Day 1755)

I started off my day with a trip through to C&C in Stromness to update them about the basin unit which will be home next week, and to put the towel rail on the wall. Once it was on the wall, I took it off so they can finish painting before I do the final fit.
I had a supplier to visit in Stromness before I made.my way across to Harray to deal with a WC which wouldn't flush. It took a while to get into the cistern, and change the internals. Adjusting the flush lever took far too long, mainly because I was struggling for room to work. As I was finishing, the customer asked if I could do another little job "while I was there". I should know to avoid those jobs really. Changing a WC seat should have been really easy. Except the fixings were rusted on and I had to break them off. It took an hour.
I made my way home for a very late lunch, then into town to collect some bits. I was back at home again in time to head out with  my beautiful wife to collect a mobile shed for keeping hoss stuff in. We arrived at the yard to drop it off as snow started to fall.
