Touareg

I bought this painting in Tunis from the painter who painted it just before president Ben Ali had to leave the country. Nice painting and memory was my thinking when I bought it. Tuareg was no more a Volkswagen but a proud Berber tribe. Today the Touareg is in the media in connection with the fighting and killing in Mali and last week the terrorist attack on the gas refinery in In Amenas, Algeria killing innocent people. The nice memory of the Tuareg has faded away.
