Lake Waitaki

Last look at Lake Wanaka this morning on another beautiful day and then home with stops at the Lindis Pass viewpoint, Omarama (Kiwi Pavlova ice cream) and the lakes for photos, not quite as glacial blue as Sunday.

Once back in Waimate there was a late lunch, some laundry and then we sat in the sun while I sewed and M lounged in the hammock.

I had to have a walk before I faced more food so took a stroll up and down Waimate main street admiring the wall art and reading up about the town's history.

Then Jamie's Mac and Cheese, the rest of the rosé, etc etc etc. And a lot more chat.
